A.instalasi IP

Untuk memulai instalasi IP pada linux tentunya kita harus siapkan :

1. Instalasi linux Ubuntu
2. Kabel Jaringan UTP (untuk pelajaran memasang kabel UTP klik disini)
3. 2 PC untuk jaringan P2P

Langkah mengkonfigurasi IP :

1. Install Pc dengan OS linux Ubuntu >> download disini
2. Masuk “system > administration > network”
3. masukkan password anda
4. Pilih untuk koneksi kabel
5. Propeti
6. Ketik IP yang anda kehendaki
   • 192.168.0.xxx
   • 10.1.1.xxx
7. Restart network card (enable or dosable)

B. Instalasi WIFI

o install a WiFi network you will need:

1. A wireless router or gateway – try the D-Link DI-624 AirPlus Xtreme G 802.11g router)

2. A wireless adapter for each system that connects to the network. (One or more D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G 802.11g wireless adapters: a DWL-G650 PC Card adapter for a Windows 2000 notebook PC and a DWL-G520 PCI adapter for a secondary desktop running Windows XP Home Edition.

3. A broadband connection to the Internet (typically via cable or DSL modem).

4. An Ethernet cable The IP address assigned to your system by your ISP if you use a static IP address.

5. If you use DSL, you will need the username and password assigned to you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

6. The MAC address for all wireless network adapters.

7. Pen and paper to write down network settings (IP and MAC addresses.)
